2. General information on data processing

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We process personal data exclusively within the framework of the statutory data protection regulations (in particular GDPR and BDSG).

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. If personal data (e.g. name, e-mail address, telephone number) is collected, this is always done on a voluntary basis.

3. Hosting

Our website and SaaS platform are hosted by Strato AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany.
The processing of personal data takes place exclusively in data centers within the European Union.
There is a contract with Strato for order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

4. Collection and processing of personal data

4.1. Use of the HappyClaim SaaS platform

As part of the use of our “HappyClaim” cloud software, personal data provided by retailers and their suppliers is processed.
This includes in particular

  • Contact details (name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, delivery address)

  • Customer data and product data

  • Invoice data

  • Product images, videos and documents

The processing is carried out to fulfill the contractual services in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

4.2. Contact form and e-mail contact

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, your details (including your contact details) will be stored in order to process your request.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in effective communication).

4.3. Newsletter

We regularly offer a newsletter to inform you about news, product updates and offers.
We use the services of Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC, Atlanta, USA) and Twenty CRM to send the newsletter.
When subscribing to the newsletter, the data provided (e.g. name and email address) are processed exclusively for sending the newsletter.

  • Registration takes place using the double opt-in procedure.

  • You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.

  • There are order processing contracts with Mailchimp and Twenty CRM in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR; EU standard contractual clauses are used where applicable.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent).

5. Analysis tools

5.1. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyze how users use the site.

  • IP addresses are anonymized (“IP masking”).

  • Personal data will only be processed with your express consent via the cookie banner.

  • You can revoke your consent at any time.

Our website uses cookies to provide basic functions and improve the user experience.
We use the GDPR Cookie Compliance tool for consent management.

7. transfer of data to third parties

Personal data will only be passed on:

  • to technical service providers (e.g. Strato, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Twenty CRM),

  • to the extent required by law or

  • to fulfill the contract with the respective customer.

There is currently no transfer to third countries.

8. Storage period and deletion

Personal data is only stored for as long as is necessary to fulfill the contract.
After the end of the contract, all data is deleted 180 days after termination, provided there are no statutory retention requirements.
Deletion is carried out manually by authorized personnel.

9. Rights of the data subjects

You have the right to at any time:

  • Information about your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)

  • Correction of incorrect data (Art. 16 GDPR)

  • Erasure (“right to be forgotten”, Art. 17 GDPR)

  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

  • Objection to certain processing operations (Art. 21 GDPR)

The transmission of sensitive data is exclusively encrypted (SSL/TLS).
Our systems are protected against unauthorized access, loss or manipulation by technical and organizational measures.

11. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy in the event of changes to our services or legal requirements.
